Glass lampwork beads made by Sarah Lamb

The necklaces on this page have been completely handmade by me: glass,silver beads and catches.

I have been making these beads using different coloured glass rods heated to high temperature with a special torch. The glass is wrapped around a metal mandrel which forms a hole.When glass is melted it goes like honey ,and if the mandrel is spun ,gravity makes a round bead. In molten state I am free to shape or add texture or stamp into different shapes to glass.
